Service Description

This nationally accredited unit describes the skills and knowledge required to perform cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) in line with the Australian Resuscitation Council (ARC) guidelines. It includes responding to cardiac emergencies, safely using an automated external defibrillator (AED), and performing CPR on adults, children, and infants. HLTAID009 is essential for individuals who may be required to provide a first aid response in a variety of workplace or community settings.
